The books that we read in business can directly or indirectly have influence on us.

I saw this Oga shouting and raking on his staff. What could have brought about such a behaviour? He has been baptized to be a Machiavellian.

He is a Machiavellian. But he wasn't aware that people would be leaving his organisation and be knows it the Employees Turnover Rate would have been on the high side.

Not all employees like poor treatment. Don't treat people bad. That was the advise we have heard countless of time. In the study of Organizational Behaviour we were educated to Treat People Nicely. Because without them our company cannot move forward.

Human by nature according to Theory X and Y want both soft and hard approach. Even Machiavelli said it is better to be feared than to be loved or to be loved than to be feared" I guess he was confused. Quote like this should not come to any Managerial Desk in modern company.

Instead of me to Read and mode my action to his book I would rather go for McGregor Douglas "Human Side of The Enterprise " which talk about the better side of being human.

In the days of Nicollo Machiavelli there are nothing like big coporation . He has nothing tangible to sell. If not all of his customers and employee must have called it quit. Frown at the company brand and call it goodbye. He later concluded that one should balance both. That is love and fear. Why should a boss appears to be fear? Why? Books written like this has form basis in which some sect,caccus and clique are using as a means of manipulating their staff without even the consent of The Coporate one who earn company Yitles by merit. Those who really understand what the company stands for in terms of People Management. Power should be check regionally or branchically.

What Machiavelli practised in the pursuit of power is politics. Many authors have diverted this to business . So bad! They want to seen and be scared of . Title like Madam,Sir and Oga has created barrier to effective communication. High wall. Big fence. Mansion that is untouchable. Where is complete candor when someone who is employed to work in a multinational company start acting like the company belongs to him in a greed manner and the people in it are his slave. No,this is bad. You ain't another Machiavelli or Mafia on earth.

They went quickly and brought their own copy of Mafia Manager . A harsh and difficult business book to read. Yet Straightforward,Simple and meaningful.

There are two sides of being a leader in this modern time. Through books. I mean Good Books. Another side is The Mafia Manager which defined you as a Boss. Backing and shouting. Talk less and manipulate. Smile with people and damage their reputation. Not a good idea.

A better book over all books on Manipulation and Manipulating Human is The One Minute Manager by Ken Blanchard. This books makes you corporate. Superior. Humane. Father. Leader. Teacher. Counsellor.

If you keep reading The Mafia Manager you would only have people to treat bad. You would be insulting your staff without you knowing. You would look too suspicious in managing. Your greed would be power and not love.

On the other hand One Minutes Manager makes you a nice and caring person. You would think twice before you judge an employee.

The funniest thing about Management is that; you might be at the Top today. Tomorrow those you abuse or manage badly might over take you. Haven't you see a Cleaner that become a CEO of a company? A boss later become an applicant searching for a job. It's a small world they say. You nailed by the G and you definitely nailed by the G. You can't remain in Organisation forever. One day you would leave. One day you might be sacked. One day the company may likely leave you.

Well we have freedom to read all kind of books as a Business Manager. Meanwhile,human being or personnel deserves respect. Balance is required.

Most importantly let us Read and Understand Organizational Behaviour. A course that keeps changing us in the global world as it concerns the internet.

OB is one of the most complex and perhaps least understand academic elements of modern Management, but since it concerns the behaviour of people within Organisation.
